Why is this Roundtable even needed now?

What challenges does it solve?

*A Major Evolutionary Transition is a moment in history when the human species must collectively make a choice about its future.


Quite simply, our species must determine whether we remain committed to life-destroying systems, or whether we are capable of choosing a new path that leads to life-enhancing systems. 


The good news is that teams of exceptional people all over the world have already built life-enhancing systems. We call these individuals 'imaginal humans,' in recognition of the role imaginal cells play in the transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly. In short, all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle we need to navigate this MET are already on the table. We don't need to innovate or build anything new.

What is missing is a "process of transformation." 

To understand why this process is missing, it's helpful to remember Einstein's wisdom:

“Without changing our patterns of thought, we will not be able to solve the problems we created with our current patterns of thought.”

The imaginal humans were only capable of building the systems we need because they didn't have to 'radically break the patterns of thought.' They already have new patterns of thought. BUT (and it's a big but) they lack sufficient understanding of the 'old' way to architect the pathways of transformation.

What is needed now is to bring together the wisdom and guidance of accomplished 'old system' builders with the youthful exuberance of 'new system' builders.

The challenge is: only a tiny percentage of old system builders have sufficently changed their patterns of thought to even recognize the puzzle pieces on the table. 

That's where you come in.

What exactly is the MET Rountable? 

A community intentionally created for conscious seekers of impact to grow, learn, and serve humanity as we navigate a Major Evolutionary Transition (MET). There have been a number of METs in the 3.8 billion years of life’s history. The end result of the transition is that a new higher-level entity exists, built up out of smaller, formerly free-living entities. Examples include the transition of eukaryotic cells to more complex prokaryotic ones, the transition of protists (algae) to more complex animals and plants. What benefits can I expect from joining the MET Roundtable? 

All of the members have reached a point in their life where they want to give back rather than seek benefits. We are givers (not takers). That said, here are three major benefits:

Is the MET Roundtable right for me?

If you are someone who has already accomplished much and have recently been seeking answers to existential questions like, "What's the purpose and meaning of life?" this is a group where you can find and share inspiration. The MET Roundtable isn’t simply a think tank… it’s a curated community of highly accomplished people here to support the evolution of the human species. We believe this is the highest quality, most vetted collective of the brightest minds working on reversing some of the trends that our species has innocently set in motion. 

The quality of your life is based on the quality of people you surround yourself with. The same is true of the human species.

How will being a member impact my life?

You will be engaging with some of the most purpose-driven Regenerators who have dedicated their life to reversing centuries-long damage done to the planet. By advising and guiding these individuals and initiatives, you will more closely align with your purpose. In short, you will experience levels of joy and fulfillment you may not have experienced before.

Which of the global challenges does the MET Roundtable address?

The short answer is that we don't directly address any of the challenges identified by the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. The slightly longer answer is that we explore the human potential to transcend every single one of the SDGs, which are merely symptoms of a human operating system that no longer serves our species.

I need more detail - what is the overall strategy?

We start with the understanding that every single one of our social systems (economy, governance, education, food production, etc.) were established when the collective human consciousness was less developed than it is today. Our consciousness has now evolved but our social systems have not. By bringing together people with this same awareness, we facilitate the emergence of more conscious social systems. Who is supporting this initiative?

In this early iteration, we have still not formally formed our Board of Trustees. Our Founding Members will advise on the formation of the Board. That said, we are in regular dialog with a wide range of global experts:

What is the Rountable's wealth philosophy?

Financial capital, like any technology is neutral. However, how it is deployed matters. Our view is that there is a need to come to a better consciousness about the enabling technology called money. Our exploration is how we can profitably deploy capital into life-enhancing systems.
